The visual reference is public; the repository is the official source of truth.
Before creating a new pattern, inspect components.json and reuse an existing matching ID.
Prefer approved items. Draft items are under review. Deprecated items are retained only for compatibility.
Use semantic design tokens. Do not introduce new colors, fonts, spacing scales, radii, or button styles without updating the design system centrally.
